Transformation starts where community and stillness meet.
Before I became a life coach, I owned an art gallery in downtown Seattle — Thai Exotic Importers.
It was more than a business; it was a space where creativity, culture, and conversation came together. But over time, something deeper began to stir inside me. Amid the imported art and cultural treasures, I began to feel a quiet calling.
“No one saves us but ourselves. No one can and no one may. We ourselves must walk the path.” — Buddha
That realization changed everything.
Free Meditation Seattle Was Born
I began by offering free meditation classes inside the gallery. What started as a few cushions in a retail space soon grew into something much bigger.
I eventually launched Free Meditation Seattle—a program dedicated to sharing meditation with anyone who was interested, no strings attached.
Over the years, the classes moved from the gallery to the Seattle Meditation Center, and even expanded to Gig Harbor. Today, people still gather every Tuesday and Thursday to meditate together—a tradition I helped start.
Though I wasn’t always the lead monk, I organized, supported, and sustained the programs.
I created the classes as a way for others to start the journey—to benefit from the practice of meditation, less stress, more calm and clarity, better intuition, a happier and more satisfied life.
Why Meditation Matters to Me
I believe deeply in the power of meditation. What I often tell students is this:
“Meditation is like building a bridge to your higher self. It’s built one brick, one meditation at a time. It’s a journey, not an immediate destination.”
Coach Steve
After experiencing the benefits firsthand, I knew it could help others—especially those trying to navigate modern life’s pace and pressure. Meditation is not just a practice. It’s a path back to yourself.
And That Led Me to Coaching
As more people came to meditate, some started asking for deeper support. They had questions. Goals. Emotional stress. Spiritual hunger.
And they wanted more than a 30-minute meditation—they wanted a guide. That’s when I realized: I wasn’t just called to teach stillness. I was called to help people move forward from it—with purpose, peace, and power.
That’s what Full Throttle Life Coaching is built on. A quiet foundation. A powerful follow-through.
Why This Story Matters
If you’re searching for clarity, direction, or just a breath of peace—you’re not alone. I’ve stepped away from business-as-usual to follow something more meaningful. I’ve watched strangers become friends in silence. And I’ve seen what happens when people give themselves the space to listen inwardly.
That’s the space I hold for my clients now.
And that’s how my path—from art gallery to inner stillness—became the start of something much bigger.
