Personalized coaching for youth and young adults ages 12–24.
Growing up and stepping into adulthood bring very different challenges at different ages. Future Focus Pathfinder recognizes that difference.
That's why we offer two distinct coaching pathways, each designed around the challenges, decisions, and opportunities of that stage of life.
Ages 12–17 — Youth Pathfinder
Discover What's Within You.
Ages 18–24 — Young Adult Pathfinder
Discover Your Advantage. Build Your Direction.
Through professional assessments, guided discovery, and individualized coaching, we uncover natural strengths, personality, emotional patterns, motivations, values, interests, and areas of potential.
Understanding yourself changes what's possible.
We identify areas that could be limiting progress and determine which new strengths and skills could make the greatest difference—from confidence and communication to discipline, emotional intelligence, decision-making, resilience, and follow-through.
Development becomes intentional.
We connect who they are today with where they want to go, then build an individualized development plan designed to leverage existing strengths, develop important new ones, and create meaningful forward movement.
Direction becomes action.
A 13-year-old discovering who they are and a 23-year-old deciding what to do with their future should not receive exactly the same coaching experience. Future Focus Pathfinder uses two age-specific approaches.
Discover What's Within You.
These years are filled with change. School, friendships, family expectations, confidence, emotions, social pressure, motivation, identity, and questions about the future can all collide at once.
Youth Pathfinder gives young people a place to discover more about themselves—their strengths, abilities, personality, interests, values, motivations, and potential.
We also identify areas where additional development could help them grow, then work on skills such as confidence, communication, emotional intelligence, resilience, decision-making, discipline, and self-belief.
We aren't trying to decide who they should become. We're helping them discover more of who they already are and what they may be capable of becoming.
Discover Your Advantage. Build Your Direction.
Between 18 and 24, the questions become different—and the decisions become more consequential.
What am I actually good at? What makes me different? Am I choosing the right education or career? How do I become independent? How do I compete for opportunities? What if I choose the wrong path? What do I actually want my future to look like?
Young Adult Pathfinder helps identify the individual's unique combination of strengths, personality, motivations, values, abilities, behavioral patterns, and goals.
We also identify the areas that could be slowing their progress and determine where developing new strengths could create the greatest impact.
From there, we create a personalized development strategy designed to help them leverage what they already do well, strengthen what needs development, make better-informed decisions, and build their own path toward their goals and future.
The goal is an advantage: greater self-awareness, stronger capabilities, clearer direction, and a strategy built around who they actually are.
Young people today are navigating enormous amounts of information, comparison, pressure, expectations, and choice.
For younger youth, the challenge may be understanding themselves, building confidence, handling emotions, finding motivation, navigating relationships, or simply beginning to imagine what's possible.
For young adults, those questions increasingly become decisions about education, career, money, independence, relationships, opportunity, purpose, and the direction of their lives.
Future Focus Pathfinder meets them where they are now and helps them develop the self-awareness, strengths, skills, and direction needed for what comes next.
Establish trust, understand their world, identify goals, concerns, strengths, and what they want from the experience.
Develop deeper awareness of emotional strengths, patterns, stress responses, interpersonal skills, and opportunities for growth.
Understand natural behavioral and communication tendencies and how they can be leveraged more effectively.
Connect assessment insights with real-life goals, challenges, opportunities, and future direction.
A customized development roadmap identifying: Strengths to leverage • Areas to develop • Goals to pursue • Skills to build • Actions to take.

Teens today face more pressure, distraction, and uncertainty than ever. Without support, they can lose direction just when confidence matters most.
The earlier young people understand themselves, the earlier they can begin making intentional choices about who they want to become and where they want to go.
Future Focus Pathfinder helps participants:
We don't give young people someone else's roadmap. We help them understand themselves, develop themselves, and build their own.
This combination of evidence-based assessment, professional coaching, emotional-intelligence development, and contemplative practice allows Coach Steve to look beyond a single test score or career choice and understand the whole person—their strengths, patterns, potential, challenges, and goals.
Young people don't need another adult simply telling them what they should do.
Coaching creates space to think, talk honestly, understand themselves, recognize strengths, examine challenges, and explore possibilities without being forced into someone else's definition of success.
Coach Steve's role is not to create their identity or choose their future.
It is to help them better understand what is already there, identify what can be developed, and learn how to use both to move forward with greater confidence and purpose.
The Future Focus Pathfinder Package is a professional life coaching program, not a clinical or therapeutic service.
Coaching is not a replacement for psychiatric or psychological counseling, diagnosis, or treatment.
Youth or families experiencing mental illness or trauma are encouraged to seek guidance from a licensed mental health professional.
Whether they're 13 and beginning to discover who they are or 23 and trying to determine where they're going, Future Focus Pathfinder meets them at their stage of life.
Ages 12–17: Discover what's within you.
